    Alumnus, A.S./B.S. in Pastry Arts

After graduating from the Pastry Arts program at Bucks County Technical High School, Tyler Fortna enrolled at Walnut Hill College and graduated with his A.S. in Pastry Arts in March 2016 and his B.S. in Pastry Arts in July 2017. He received the College’s Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Student Life & Learning upon graduating from the associate program and later became the valedictorian of his bachelor class. While working toward his bachelor’s degree, Tyler was a member of the WHC Residential Learning Committee, acting as a dorm advisor and helping to plan fun and interactive events and trips for his fellow students. In September 2017, he accepted the position of Culinary Fellow at the College and works alongside our chef instructors during dinner service for our four restaurants. In his spare time, he enjoys hitting the golf course and playing basketball.
