Restaurants are famously frenetic environments. That’s why all great restaurants have a confident manager, a people person who can lead a diverse team of personalities and talents while also overseeing the logistics, finances, and business challenges that define the restaurant business.
Our bachelor’s degree program combines hands-on learning at Bistro Perrier, our open-to-the-public restaurant, with a curriculum that weds culinary strategy and training in operational management. Through a succession of courses in Menu Planning, Management Dynamics, Marketing and Hospitality Operations and Assessment, you’ll learn the skills you need to effectively manage and lead a restaurant to success, night in and night out.
Students seeking admission into the college bachelor degree programs must complete an application with the admissions department and have an earned associate degree in the related program of study from Walnut Hill College or another accredited institution.
Tuition-Paid Travel to England
This week-long experience exposes students to all aspects of the industry, learning from professionals who truly understand the meaning of ‘hospitality.’ Students explore quaint pubs in small towns, including the oldest free-house in England, The Royal Standard. They’ll visit world renowned patisseries and chocolatiers such as Artisan du Chocolat, and visit Restaurant Gordon Ramsay to explore the world of fine dining and wines.
Restaurant Management Careers: Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant Management
Upon completion of the program, you’ll be prepared to land key roles in fine dining restaurants or to pursue management positions in a variety of food service establishments.
