Our Degree Programs
Foodservice and hospitality are callings for those who love creating memorable moments for others. It’s about taking the most fundamental human experiences – eating, gathering, celebrating – and turning them into something truly special.
Our experiential curriculum is centered around our operational kitchens and open-to-the-public restaurant, and is led by expert instructors who will teach you the principles and the practices you need to start your career with confidence and capability.
Walnut Hill College is ranked by Niche in the top 10 of its
2023 Best Colleges for Culinary Arts in America.
Associate’s & Bachelor’s Degrees
We offer three specialized associate’s degrees and four comprehensive bachelor’s degree programs. Each associate’s degree lets you build the fundamental skills you need to start your desired career, or to enter our four-year degree programs that will specialize your chosen skill set while developing the critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills required to be a leader in any hospitality business.
Tuition-Paid Travel
To fully understand the global, cultural origins and practices of food and hospitality, every associate’s and bachelor’s degree student takes a tuition-paid travel abroad for a firsthand look at international hospitality. Whether it’s exploring the roots of gastronomy in France, classical hospitality in England, or hotel, restaurant, and resort management on a trip to Disney World and cruise to the Bahamas, you’ll reinforce what you’ve learned in school by experiencing it in action across the world.
Culinary Programs for High School Students
Maybe you’re a high schooler interested in a hospitality career or perhaps you’re just a kid who loves to cook; either way, our summer programs and culinary competitions give you the opportunity to sharpen your skills and consider the exciting possibilities of a career in hospitality.
College Advising
A career in culinary arts, pastry arts, or hospitality management can be the perfect fit for the right student. We work with high school educators to help identify students with a passion for hard work, creativity, camaraderie, and leadership, and who want to pursue those interests through an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from Walnut Hill College.
Community Classes
Whether you want to sharpen your knife skills, up your baking game, or just looking for a fun night out, our range of community classes are a great way to further your passion for cooking.
