Joanna Smyth Lupo
Director of High School Ambassadorship
As Director of High School Ambassadorship, Joanna Smyth Lupo brings to her position a true sense of leadership, an eye for detail, and an understanding of higher education and the hospitality industry. Joanna is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and was a chef instructor for 14 years, most recently at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Delaware. Having brought her high school students on tours of our facilities over the years, she is very familiar with Walnut Hill College.
Joanna has worked in many different city restaurants as both a sous chef and an executive chef. She has even owned her own restaurant and natural food business and catering company. Originally from Downingtown, Joanna now spends time with her family in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.
