This database provides full-text, online versions of over 630 top-quality reference books in all major subjects, including art, medicine, psychology, history, technology, literature, and more. It also includes bilingual and biographical dictionaries.

EBSCOHOST RESEARCH DATABASES

EBSCOhost provides access to a variety of databases that includes Hospitality and Tourism Complete, Ebooks Academic Collection, and GreenFILE. Choose from among the EBSCOhost web links below to access these databases.

ATOZ WORLD CULTURE

AtoZ World Culture is a comprehensive, full-text, country-by-country resource database. It comprises 175 country’s culture guides in 61 categories, each including in-depth coverage of topics such as climate and geography, language, national cuisine and recipes, human rights, national symbols, travel, business culture, and more.

ATOZ WORLD FOOD

A comprehensive database of food and food culture for 174 countries, this database includes 884 food culture articles, 6,500 traditional recipes, 545 ingredient articles, 2,000 food quotes, historical timelines, and glossaries. It is lavishly illustrated with 14,000 photos.

NEXIS UNI

Nexis Uni (formerly LexisNexis) provides access to legal research materials, medical information, and a broad range of news and business information resources. This database offers full-text searching of national and international newspapers and magazines.

ERIC (EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES INFORMATION CENTER)

ERIC provides unlimited access to more than 1.4 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other educational materials, with hundreds of new records added multiple times per week. If possible, links to full text in Adobe PDF format are included.

WORLDCAT

WorldCat includes millions of holdings from libraries worldwide.

FREE LIBRARY OF PHILADELPHIA

If you have a Free Library of Philadelphia card, you can sign up for access to a wide array of electronic databases available via the web. You can apply for a pin by going to The Free Library’s Databases page.
